Principal

Since 1999, I have been a dedicated STEM educator with a strong passion for physics education. I hold a degree in Computational Chemistry with specialised modules in Quantum Chemistry and Chemical Physics.

My career began in research, initially focused on Quantum Chemistry before expanding into Mathematical Biology. Over the years, I have taught a broad range of subjects, including KS3 and KS4 Science, as well as A-level Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering interdisciplinary connections across STEM, encouraging collaboration among educators in Science, Mathematics, Computing, and English. I am committed to continuous professional development, having received training from the Institute of Physics (IOP), and I remain engaged with current educational practices through academic journals, edX courses, YouTube, and platforms such as Isaac Physics.

In 2019, I launched a STEM-focused YouTube channel offering accessible educational content for KS3, KS4, A-level, and university-level students in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry—supporting learners and educators alike beyond the classroom.

In addition to teaching, I mentor fellow educators and lead workshops designed to strengthen their understanding of physics concepts. Driven by a commitment to innovation in STEM education, I strive to inspire a deep appreciation for physics and contribute to advancing STEM literacy through evidence-based, impactful teaching.
