Since 1999, I have been an enthusiastic STEM educator, particularly passionate about physics education. With a degree in Computational Chemistry and specialised modules in Quantum Chemistry and Chemical Physics, my career began in research, focusing initially on Quantum Chemistry and later expanding into Mathematical Biology. Over the years, I have taught a diverse range of subjects including KS3 and KS4 science, computer science, and A-levels in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. My teaching philosophy emphasises interdisciplinary connections within STEM, promoting collaboration among educators in Mathematics, English language, Computing, and Science.

I am dedicated to continuous professional development, receiving training from the Institute of Physics (IOP) and staying current with educational advancements through journals, edX courses, YouTube, and resources like Isaac Physics. In 2019, I launched a STEM-focused YouTube channel to provide accessible educational content tailored for KS3, KS4, and A-level students in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, supporting both students and educators beyond the classroom.

Beyond teaching, I mentor fellow educators, organizing workshops to strengthen their grasp of physics concepts. Committed to innovation in STEM education, I aim to inspire a love for physics and contribute to advancing STEM literacy through effective teaching practices.
